The top management of WSR understands the importance of impartiality when performing management system certification activities; manages potential conflict of interests and ensures the objectivity of its management system certification activities. QSR has developed and implemented procedures in compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO /IEC 17021-3, ISO/IEC 17021-10 series, additional accreditation level documents and relevant IAF MDs for maintaining the impartiality.

The certification procedures are approved by the Managing Director and are to be abided when applicable and when management system certification is conducted according to ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO /IEC 17021-3, ISO/IEC 17021-10 series, additional accreditation level documents and relevant IAF MDs accreditation standards.

WSR does not;

1. Provide certification services to any other Certification Bodies Quality Management System (QMS), (EMS), (OHSAS) activities;
2. Provide Management system related consultancy services;
3. Provide internal audit services to any clients, whether they have been certified by WSR or not;
4. Provide certification services to any organization where a relationship with WSR poses a threat to impartiality;
5. Outsource audits required by the certification process to any other organization or other management system consultancy organization.
6. Offer its services in such a way that the client has the impression that he would gain advantages if a specified consultancy organization were used.

WSR Impartiality Committee shall safeguard the impartiality of the activities of WSR and shall : 

• As WSR  in developing the policies relating to impartiality of WSR certification activities.
• Counteract any tendency on the part of WSR to allow commercial or other considerations to prevent the content objective provision of certification activities,
• Advise on matters affecting confidence in certification, including openness and public perception and
• Conduct a review, at least once annually, of the impartiality of the audit, certification and decision making processes of the certification body. Other tasks or duties may be assigned to the committee provided these additional tasks or duties do not compromise its essential role of ensuring impartiality.
